World Rankings of Australian Universities
Australian universities are strongly represented in world university rankings. Depending on the ranking system, Australia has around six of the world's top 100 universities. Most of other Australian universities rank in the top 500 or top 1000.
We've extracted data from the different ranking agencies to give a composite rank for every university in Australia. The 42 unis are ranked from top to bottom. The table also shows the survey rankings of QS and Times, academic research rankings of Shanghai ARWU, and web publishing rankings of Webometrics.
